Keyword research for services: intent, “money” pages, and SEO structure
When you say “I want to show up on Google,” what you actually want is inquiries. And inquiries come from keywords with commercial intent. Below is the method: keyword list → page architecture that gets indexed and converts.

1) Intent: informational vs commercial
Not all searches are equal. In SEO, you make money from intent.
“what is SEO,” “how does it work…”. Good for authority and top-of-funnel.
“SEO price,” “SEO agency,” “SEO audit cost”. This is where decisions are made.
“SEO services,” “website creation,” “Google Ads management”. This is where you want the right page.
2) Clustering: how to group correctly
Correct: 1 pillar page + supporting subpages/guides.
- Pillar: SEO Services
- Money: pricing / audit / local
- Support: informational articles that link to the money pages
3) Page mapping: homepage vs services
The homepage does not need to rank for everything. For services, a dedicated page beats the homepage.
“website creation” → /creare-site/. “SEO services” → /seo-services-that-increase-traffic-leads/. “Google Ads” → /google-ads/.
4) Prioritization (90 days)
- Top 3 money pages: SEO, website creation, Google Ads (copy + structure + CTA).
- Proof: case studies + about us + contact.
- 4–8 cluster articles that link to the money pages.
- Interlinking + updates on pages with impressions (GSC).
5) Interlinking to money pages
Each article must have 2–3 useful links:
- to the pillar: SEO Services
- to money: SEO pricing or contact
- to a cluster article: topic clusters
